Ecospec provides erosion control and stormwater consulting services mandated by the Clean Water Act under the Phase II NPDES (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System) Stormwater Program. New regulations require that developers and builders submit a Notice of Intent (NOI) to be covered under the Construction General Permit (CGP) currently approved for activity disturbing more than one acre of land. A Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) is required as well to outline how BMPs and structural controls will be utilized to protect our natural resources. We have Certified Erosion Prevention and Sediment Control Inspectors (CEPSCI) on staff to conduct the required periodic inspections and reporting, as required by the 2012 SC DHEC Construction General Permit.
Our NPDES compliance services include:
- SWPPP Management
- Construction Site SWPPP Inspections
- Erosion & Sediment Control Consulting
- Environmental Monitoring and Construction Compliance
- Record Keeping
